WheelMates Customization: Colors, Parts and Supporter Pack

What you can change

Firevolt’s Devlog #3 (Aug 11, 2026) and the Aug 21 Q&A describe the system:

  • Base colour: chosen before you start. In launch footage the two cars were red and blue.
  • Wheels, antenna, horn: each is a custom part found while exploring. “The rest is scattered all over the house, waiting to be found as you play. Keep an eye out: some of it is hidden pretty well.”
  • Mix and match anything you have found; parts are per car, so both players can look different.

Customization is purely cosmetic. Both cars keep identical abilities, and no part changes handling.

Where the parts are

Firevolt has not published locations or a count, and the achievement only says “Collect all the Custom parts”. What we know from footage and demo notes:

  • The Journal tracks collectibles per room, so a room’s page in the Journal tells you whether something is still missing there.
  • Demo pairs found “spare parts” in the Garage under the pickup truck and behind magnet-only covers, so expect parts to be behind gadget gates you can only open on a return trip.
  • One day after launch the Ultra-Fine-tuning achievement sat at 0.1%, tied for the rarest in the game, which says more about time played than difficulty.

We will add a per-level list when a documented 100% run exists; the collectibles page tracks what is known.

The Supporter Pack ($4.99)

Released with the game on September 1. From the DLC page:

SlotSupporter Pack item
Car bodyModel II (the base game has one body)
PaintSilver, Gold
AntennaThe Helmet, The Tailpipe
HornThe Mountain King

It is a separate purchase or part of the Supporter Edition bundle. A Sept 2 report says the Friend’s Pass copy cannot use the owner’s pack items, including on another PC; Firevolt had not replied. Assume DLC cosmetics are owner-only.

More on the way?

Firevolt, Aug 21: “Yes! You can customize your car by changing the color, wheels, antenna, and horn.” and, on other car models, “At launch, we’ll have a Supporter Pack with a new car model and extra customization options.” DLC in general is planned but undated; the roadmap tracks it.
